West Cumbria Mining Ltd will have the deferred rolled up hearing in July in relation to its plans for a coking coal mine off the coast of Cumbria.
The company said that the High Court had confirmed the date would be between 16 and 18 July.
The hearing follows a challenge by two parties against the Government’s planning approval in December 2022, following the public inquiry in September 2021.
WCM added it continued to focus on preparatory works before beginning “real construction activity” no later than early 2025.
