Vermilion Energy Inc has increased its operated interest from 20 to 56.5% in the Corrib natural gas project 83km off the northwest coast of County Mayo, Ireland.

LOW EMISSIONS
The Canadian company said it was now the largest provider of domestic natural gas in Ireland following its completed US$434 million acquisition of Equinor Energy Ireland Ltd.
The transaction which closed in 31 March adds some 7,000 boe/d of premium-priced, high netback, low emission European natural gas production to Vermilion.
The company’s other assets are in America, Australia, Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia and the Netherlands.
