United NED Tom Hickey to leave for Kenmare

United Oil & Gas plc independent non-executive director (NED) Tom Hickey has notified the company of his intention to step down.

Mr Hickey is also chair of the audit and risk committee and a member of the remuneration committee.

He will step down from the board on 23 September 2022 to take up his new post as finance director and an executive director with Kenmare Resources plc, replacing Tony McCluskey.

Graham Martin will chair the audit and risk committee while United looks for a successor to Mr Hickey.

Kenmare added that Mr Hickey would also be appointed as an executive director to the board.
