United Oil & Gas plc has appointed non-executive director Iman Hill as a consultant for the Walton Morant project, offshore Jamaica.
Ms Hill, who joined United in September 2020, is a petroleum engineer with 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
She has global expertise in the technical and commercial aspects of the petroleum business, in particular field development, capital projects, commercial negotiations, farm-outs and production operations.
Ms Hill gained her experience in the Middle East, North and West Africa, South America, the Far East and the North Sea.
She has worked in a number of diverse settings from onshore to ultra-deep water with companies including BP, Shell and BG Group.
At Dana Gas she held the role of technical director, GM UAE and president Egypt and also ran one the Egyptian joint ventures as managing director and board member of the Egyptian Bahraini Gas Derivatives Company.
Ms Hill has an MSC in Computer Science and a BSC in Biochemistry from Aberdeen University, as well as an MBA from INSEAD.
United’s consultancy agreement with Ms Hill is for an initial three months at its Dublin office.
The period can be extended by mutual agreement or terminated by giving not less than one month’s written notice, with consultancy fees commensurate with the role.
