United appoints Herona Thompson as Jamaica manager

United Oil & Gas plc has appointed Herona Thompson as country manager in Jamaica.

Ms Thompson is a geologist experienced in the petroleum industry, having worked for the Government of Jamaica as well as the private sector on national and international projects.

She will play a key role in overseeing and implementing United’s work programme recently agreed with the Government on the Walton Morant licence.
