UK Oil & Gas plc said that a planned two-week production facility upgrade had been completed at its majority owned Horse Hill oil field in Surrey.

This included modifications to prepare the site for automated 24-hour continuous production and installation of the first tranche of permanent facility equipment.
The work is required under the Health and Safety Executive’s Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) regulations.
The company added that following the shutdown needed to do the work, oil production has now been re-established.
UKOG owns 85.635% and Alba Mineral Resources holds 11.765%.
