Tungsten West plc has received a draft permit to operate the mineral processing facility at the Hemerdon tin-tungsten mine in Devon.
FINANCING
The company is reviewing the draft permit before documentations are finalised and a public consultation held where the Environment Agency will “identify that they are ‘minded to’ grant the permit”.
Tungsten West said that the draft permit was a “significant step” towards securing further financing for Hemerdon and the start of the revised feasibility study, ahead of the main financing round.
The company, which is considering selling some of its assets, expects mining operations to restart during H2 2025.
