Tungsten West plc has appointed Martin Wood to the board as a senior non-executive director.
Mr Wood is the founder and managing director of Vicarage Capital Ltd, a full-service brokerage house for junior and mid-cap resource companies.
He is also non-executive chairman of Altona Rare Earths Ltd where he helped to negotiate the acquisition of rare earths development assets in Mozambique and Malawi.
Mr Wood’s former directorships include Kogi Iron Ltd and JSE listed Arden Capital Ltd.
Tungsten West will use Mr Wood’s experience in debt and equity markets and the development of resource assets to restart its Hemerdon tin-tungsten mine in Devon.
