Tungsten West appoints Jeffery Court as CEO

Tungsten West plc has appointed Jeffery Court as chief executive officer on the board, effective no later than 1 November 2024.

His appointment is subject to completion of his notice period from current employer Capital Ltd, due diligence and approval of a UK work visa.

Mr Court is an international mining executive with more than 30 years’ experience in the mineral resource sector.

His roles have covered feasibility and start-up, major EPC/EPCM and product mineral processing plant projects, mining operations and contract mining services, operational and business management.

Mr Court began his career with Rio Tinto plc, during which time he was involved in mine feasibility and long-term planning.

After 15 years at Orica in multiple senior business executive roles, he worked for FLSmidth followed by Perenti Ltd (formerly Ausdrill Ltd).

At Perenti he had responsibility for operational and business management of the African mining service division across seven mining sites in Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso and Ghana.

Mr Court has more recently been CEO – mining & chief development officer – mining of Capital’s drilling and mining services business covering Australia, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America.
