Tullow Oil plc has announced that its chief financial officer (CFO) and executive director Les Wood has mutually agreed with the board that he will leave the company.
Mr Wood will remain CFO and an executive director of Tullow throughout the current reporting cycle.
He is expected to leave the group at the end of March 2022 following the publication of Tullow’s 2021 full year results.
The company said it aimed to appoint a new CFO during the first quarter of 2022.
Mr Wood joined Tullow during 2014 as the group’s vice president for commercial and finance.
In January 2017, he was appointed interim CFO and was appointed to the Tullow board as an executive director and CFO in June 2017.
Mr Wood said that following the comprehensive refinancing to strengthen the group earlier this year, it was the right time for him to leave Tullow after five years as CFO.
