Tullow Oil plc has appointed Richard Miller as chief financial officer (CFO) and an executive director, effective 1 January 2023.
Mr Miller, who has been interim CFO since April 2022 and is also group financial controller, has worked for Tullow for more than 11 years.
During that time, he led the company’s finance team, supporting a number of acquisitions, disposals and capital markets transactions.
Mr Miller played a significant role in the continued turnaround of Tullow with the successful rebasing of the company’s cost structure, resetting of the balance sheet and the change to a more focused capital allocation.
He is a chartered accountant and joined Tullow from Ernst and Young LLP where he worked in the audit and assurance practice.
