Serica Energy plc has appointed Richard Rose to the board as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Mr Rose initially worked for Ernst & Young where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant before joining HSBC Investment Bank in the corporate finance division.
In 2002, he joined Oriel Securities, becoming a partner in equity research and was responsible for coverage of the E&P sector.
Mr Rose then worked for RBC Capital Markets in 2012 as a managing director where he advised a number of energy companies before joining Ophir Energy as strategy and head of corporate communications.
In 2014, he was appointed finance director of Premier Oil plc.
From January to April 2021, he acted as interim chief executive officer of Premier until the completion of the all-share merger of the company and Chrysaor Holdings which formed Harbour Energy plc.
Mr Rose does not hold any ordinary shares or options over ordinary shares in the company.
