Scotgold Resources Ltd has appointed one of its shareholders Maurice Mason as a non-executive director (NED) with immediate effect.
Mr Mason has more than 20 years’ experience within the mining industry.
He previously held roles in Anglo American and is currently the vice president of corporate development at gold producer Caledonia Mining Corporation plc.
Before joining Caledonia, Mr Mason was a securities analyst focusing on the mining sector.
He holds 6,898,808 ordinary shares in Scotgold, his wife Nicole Mason has 3,444,404 ordinary shares and dependent child owns 10,000 ordinary shares.
