Scirocco Energy plc chief operating officer Doug Rycroft has stepped down from his position following the company’s completed sale of its Ruvuma gas interest in Tanzania.
Chief executive Tom Reynolds said: “As a secondee from Gneiss Energy, which assisted us with the disposal of Ruvuma, Doug has played a critical role in managing Scirocco’s interest in Ruvuma since 2018 and overseeing the divestment process.
“I’d like to thank him for his hard work in assisting that transformative transaction over the line.”
Scirocco retains a legacy 8.39% non-operated interest in the Kiliwani North gas licence on Songo Songo island and a 0.85% interest in Helium One Global also operating in Tanzania.
