Red Rock to maximise short-term value of Zimbabwe lithium

Red Rock Resources plc aims to maximise the short term value of its lithium assets in Zimbabwe to benefit from the metal’s current high demand.

OPERATIONS

The company’s licences, near Bikita and Arcturus, are under discussion with several potential off-take partners and include possible sales to China.

Chief executive officer Andrew Bell, currently in the country, is planning operations with entrepreneur Sam Mahendran and his consultants including Dr Willem Smuts and Dirk Benade, who is transferring from Red Rock to Mr Mahendran’s employ.

The company meanwhile continues to await a settlement of its $7.5m or more arbitration claim in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
