Red Rock sends lithium oxide samples to potential overseas buyers

Red Rock Resources plc has sent high grade lithium oxide sampling results from its Zimbabwe project to potential overseas buyers for review.

POTENTIAL

Last month the company reported it had opened talks on possible sales to agents in China.

Three samples each approximately 2kg from the pegmatite at the first permitted area were first sent for testing in Harare and a further sample was taken near the pegmatite.

Results showed lithium content ranging from 0.19% to 2.04% and lithium oxide from 0.4% to 4.36%.

“These high grade lithium oxide results show the potential that exists, and we continue discussions with potential customers and contractors,” said chairman Andrew Bell.
