Red Rock is completing the first phase of the planned 70.95 km-line ground magnetic survey at Kisinka near Lubumbashi, DRC.

Work will resume at the Kolwezi joint venture (JV) to bring the identified copper-cobalt deposit into compliance with a modern reporting code.

Red Rock is also planning exploration programmes for two other highly prospective assets in the JV.

KENYA

The company said that CSA Global (UK) Ltd continued to update the 1.2 million oz gold mineral resource estimate declared under JORC 2004 to JORC 2012.

The camp and vehicle refurbishment have been completed, and a geoscientist and a community relations officer recruited in the country.

Red Rock has started to engage with stakeholders, review data and develop plans for 2021.

A francophone London-based geologist and data manager have been recruited to start work in January for the Kenya and Congolese projects.

AUSTRALIA

Red Rock’s JV with Power Metal Resources plc, Red Rock Australasia Pty Ltd (RRAL), has recruited community engagement officer Kiara Reddingius for the gold project in Ballarat, Victoria.

RRAL is continuing technical preparations so that exploration can begin as soon as the first licences are granted.

COMMUNITIES

Company chairman Andrew Bell said that everything was lining up for an active 2021.

“In each jurisdiction, as we move from the regulatory issues associated with grant and contract registration to operational issues, the timing comes under our direct control and we can pick up the pace.”
