Premier Oil chief executive Tony Durrant stepped down today (16 December) from the company’s board of directors. He will remain CEO until 31 December 2020.

Finance director Richard Rose will be the interim chief executive from 1 January 2021 until completion of Premier’s proposed merger with Chrysaor.
Chief operating officer Stuart Wheaton will be interim deputy chief executive from 1 January 2021 until the transaction has been completed.
Barbara Jeremiah, independent non-executive director and chair of Premier’s Remuneration Committee stepped down from the board on 30 November 2020.
Mike Wheeler, who has been a member of the committee since October 2018, has been appointed chairman. Premier chairman Roy Franklin became a committee member last month.
