Predator finds zones of interests from MOU-3 results

Predator Oil & Gas Holdings plc encountered multiple zones of interest after completing drilling and logging for the MOU-3 well at Guercif, onshore Morocco.

Plan: MOU-3 well is now complete ahead of MOU-4 which will also test a 126 km² structure (Predator Oil & Gas)

JURASSIC

Operations to appraise the Moulouya Fan primary reservoir target and several secondary reservoir targets encountered five potential sands with gas shows within the interval from 815 to 895m TVD MD.

Further petrophysical wireline analysis will be commissioned ahead of finalising multiple intervals for rigless testing planned for 43 metre gross interval in the Moulouya Fan.

The Star Valley Rig 101 has now moved to the MOU-4 well location where drilling is expected to begin shortly.

MOU-4 will target the same sequence of the Moulouya Fan as found in MOU-3.

The well will also test the potential for Jurassic carbonate reservoir development within a 126km² structure.

“The MOU-3 well has validated our pre-drill upside forecast for sand development in respect of the main Moulouya Fan target,” said executive chairman Paul Griffiths.

“The focus will now be on drilling and completing MOU-4 where we do not expect shallow gas to be present.

“Targets are the Moulouya Fan and the so far unknown potential of the Jurassic carbonates within a very large structural closure.”

After drilling MOU-4, Predator will assess results from all the wells drilled during 2023 before beginning a comprehensive and expanded rigless testing programme during July.
