Predator extends sympathy over Morocco earthquake

Predator Oil & Gas Holdings plc has extended its sympathy to those affected by the earthquake on 8 September in Morocco.

The earthquake struck below villages in the High Atlas mountains south of Marrakesh, with some 2,500 to date reported killed.

“The company is terribly sorry to have received the news Friday night and over the weekend regarding the earthquake in Morocco,” said Predator in a statement.

“Our thoughts are with all those affected by this shocking tragedy.

“We recognise that this will be a very difficult and sad time for all of us who have worked in Morocco for many years and have a special connection to the country and its people.”

The company’s own operations are unaffected by the earthquake.

Critical Mineral Resources plc, which also has interests in Morocco, has expressed its condolences to victims of the earthquake.
