Power Metal Resources plc has further increased its uranium portfolio by 54% at its 100% owned interests surrounding the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan, Canada.
DATA
The company has added 144.84 km2 and now holds 411.96 km2 (41,196 ha) with the additional ground (54.2%) staked around Thibaut Lake, Clearwater and Reitenbach properties.
Power Metal said it was compiling historic data from across its portfolio and has so far completed full analysis on three properties.
ACCELERATION
Chief executive Paul Johnson added that the company had accelerated its campaign because of the speed at which other parties were staking ground and the high-value transactions around the Athabasca Basin.
“Power Metal now has exposure to 412 km2 of ground that we consider to be highly prospective for uranium mineralisation, representing a strategic portfolio of uranium focused exploration interests within a top mining jurisdiction.”
