Power Metal Resources plc announced the start of a test pitting programme targeting coarse gold mineralisation at the Alamo project in Arizona, USA.
PROGRAMME
The permitted programme allows for the excavation of up to six test pits (three at Breccia Hill and three at Big Boulder Wash), and five percussion drill holes.
The company said that the geological team, excavator, metal detectorist and geological support staff were on site on 22 November.
ALAMO PROJECT
The Alamo project is a package of mining claims covering 946 acres prospective for gold following the discovery of native gold nuggets near surface.
In June, Power Metal prepaid the $40,000 deposit for the work bringing the total spend for the year to July 2021 over the US$100,000 minimum in the earn-in agreement signed with Frisco Gold Corp.
Power Metal has the right to earn-in up to a 75% interest in the project.
