HERITAGE CLEARANCE

The company’s interests in projects in the area are held through its 62.12% subsidiary First Development Resources plc (FDR), which is due to be soon listed in the London capital markets.

Wallal is one of three projects and includes tenements E45/5816, E45/5853 and E45/5880.

In September, Power Metal completed the heritage clearance survey at Wallal, supervised by the Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation and the Nyangumarta people, which confirmed drilling could start to establish the site.

DRILLING

FDR will create access and prepare the drilling pad at the eastern magnetic bullseye anomaly, before diamond drilling which is expected to follow immediately after FDR’s listing.

Phase I diamond core drilling programme will first test the eastern anomaly, interpreted to comprise two lobes covering approximately 2.5km x 2.5km, targeting a large-scale gold-copper discovery.
