Power Metal Resources plc has been granted a third prospecting licence, containing the historical Cherished Hope mine, in the Tati Greenstone Belt near Francistown, Botswana.

ANOMALIES
The company’s subsidiary, Tati Greenstone Resources Pty Ltd, holds the 16.14 km2 licence, which also holds a large gold-in-soil anomaly.
Prospecting licence 049/2022 adds to the company’s existing PL126/2019 and PL127/2019.
Power Metal will review all historical results for the new licence before planning further exploration.
Chief executive Paul Johnson described the grant of the additional licence as a significant achievement.
“With this new PL now granted, our upsized exploration footprint covers multiple targets across a highly prospective area for gold mineralisation, and we are accelerating exploration efforts to test the new Au-in-soil anomalies secured.”
