Power Metal Resources plc has secured a short extension to its option to acquire First Development Resources (Pty) Ltd with copper-gold exploration interests in the Paterson Province in the eastern Pilbara Region of Western Australia.
In January, the junior miner secured an exclusive 60-day option to acquire the Australian company to increase its interests in the country.
The Paterson Province is considered highly prospective for gold-copper and base metal mineral systems with recent copper and gold discoveries by Rio Tinto and Greatland Gold.
