Power Metal to drill test Molopo in new year

Power Metal Resources plc expects to drill test an identified high priority target in January 2024 at Molopo Farms Complex in southwestern Botswana.

Advances: follow-up analysis determined up to two areas to test the conductor (Power Metal)

TWO AREAS

The company has signed a drilling contract with Discovery Drilling Contractors Africa, which completed the 2021 drilling campaign on Molopo.

Operations will focus on the “very strong, steeply dipping multi-kilometre” conductor, co-incident with the keel of the feeder zone intrusion, within target area T1-14.

Since October, Power Metal has advanced plans for drill testing with follow-up analysis determining up to two areas to test the conductor optimally.

A previous postulated geological model confirmed the presence of nickel sulphides and platinum group elements at Molopo.

Power Metal holds an 87.71% interest in Botswana private company Kalahari Key Mineral Exploration Pty Ltd, which holds a 100% interest in the project.
