Power Metal confirms uranium exploration targets

Power Metal Resources plc has confirmed uranium exploration targets across four properties in the company’s portfolio surrounding the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Activities: field spectrometer survey, rock sampling and accredited laboratory lithogeochemistry testing (Power Metal)

PORTFOLIO

The company’s uranium assets comprise seven properties of Thibaut Lake, Clearwater, Tait Hill, Soaring Bay, Cook Lake, E-12 and Reitenbach.

The targets are on Tait Hill, Soaring Bay, Clearwater and Thibault Lake.

EXPLORATION

Power Metal added that its hyperspectral data analysis utilising Sentinel-2 satellite data on hydrogen and helium gas reflectance had refined existing and confirmed the new exploration targets.

The company will use the target data for next stage ground exploration this summer across four properties.

Activities will include field spectrometer survey, rock sampling and accredited laboratory lithogeochemistry testing of rock samples.

THIRD PARTY

The company said that the Tait Hill project demonstrated a geologic setting analogous to Rössing, one of the world’s largest uranium producing deposits.

Power Metal is integrating all portfolio property information into comprehensive datarooms to support any future third party review.
