Panther completes surveys over Obonga

Panther Metals plc has completed high resolution airborne magnetic geophysical drone surveys over three high prospectivity areas at Obonga in Ontario, Canada.

Collection: 19 samples from 66 outcrop areas will be sent for assay (Pixabay)

TARGETS

The Survey prospect contains a volcanogenic massive sulphide discovery while the Ottertooth and Silver Rim geophysical anomalies are yet to undergo drill testing.

Once processed, the data will be used to prepare magnetic mapping products and a three dimensional inversion model to help refine planned drill hole orientations, as well as the mineral system modelling.

The company is targeting high-grade base metal zones at depth.

Magnetic survey work will also extend over additional target areas to include the Wishbone VMS, as well as the Awkward graphite to target areas for a future survey.

Panther added it had progressed ground exploration at Awkward by mapping five separate regions.

A representative collection of 19 samples from a total 66 outcrop areas have been sent for graphite, precious metal and 61 element assay methods.

Results will help refine the graphite targets.
