Oriole Resources plc has paid its respects to Cameroon’s mining minister who has died aged 51.
LEADERSHIP
Minister of mines, industry and technological development, Gabriel Dodo Ndoke, died in the early hours of Saturday, 21 January.
Oriole sent its deepest condolences to Mr Ndoke’s family, friends and colleagues.
“We are deeply saddened to learn that the minister of mines, Gabriel Dodo Ndoke, passed away over the weekend,” added chief executive Tim Livesey.
“Minister Ndoke was highly supportive of the company’s work in Cameroon and, through his leadership, has helped to position Cameroon as an emerging and highly attractive mining destination.
“Our thoughts and sympathy go out to all those that had the pleasure of knowing him.”
