Oriole Resources plc has received a £157,000 tax rebate in respect of geoscientific advances through the company’s exploration programmes in West Africa.

The money is from the company’s research and development tax relief claim for the year ended 31 December 2022.
Oriole said that the rebate reflected its research on potential areas of mineralisation to build geological data needed to assess economic feasibility of future mining.
The company is exploring for gold in Cameroon and Senegal and holds several interests and royalties in companies operating in East Africa and Turkey.
