Orcadian Energy plc announced that Christian Wilms will leave as a non-executive director (NED) on the board.
The news comes as co-founder Greg Harding announced his retirement at the end of the year.
The company said that Mr Wilms’ increasing executive responsibilities had made it difficult for him to dedicate the necessary time to his role at Orcadian.
He will cease to be a director of the company from the 31 October 2022.
Mr Wilms joined the Orcadian board in 2019, just as he was moving from Shell to MOL.
Orcadian added that he had been a great counsellor, both technically and commercially, and his advice would be much missed.
BOARD COMPOSITION
Following the changes, Orcadian board’s will comprise Joe Darby, non-executive chairman; Tim Feather, independent NED; Steve Brown, chief executive officer; and Alan Hume, chief financial officer.
Orcadian said it looked to appoint a new independent board member in due course.
