New Age Exploration Ltd has outlined its current licences for coking coal mining on the border of Scotland and England.

Coal: New Age Exploration acquired the Lochinvar licence in 2012 (NAE)

DECISION

In its quarterly report for 2021, the Australian miner reported no activities at the sites with its main focus remaining on Australia and New Zealand.

A Coal Authority decision is still pending on NAE‘s licence application received on 12 May 2020 for a coking coal mine in Lochinvar Central.

The site covers land from Gretna to Canonbie in Dumfries and Galloway, southwest Scotland.

The project consists of three adjacent exploration licences and three conditional underground mining licences within Lochinvar, Lochinvar North and Lochinvar South.

NAE acquired the Lochinvar licence in 2012 and drilled an initial four cored drill holes during 2013 and six holes in 2014.
