Metals announces TVR following acquisition

Metals Exploration plc has announced its total voting rights and interests held by significant shareholders following its acquisition of Condor Gold plc.

INVESTORS

The company has 2,951,875,559 shares in issue, of which 393,513,312 ordinary shares are held in treasury.

The total number of voting rights is therefore 2,558,362,247.

Nick Candy has 651 million shares, representing 25.45% of the company.

The shares are held through wholly owned Candy Investments S.a.r.l with 650m ordinary shares and MTL (Luxembourg) S.a.r.l with one million ordinary shares.

Drachs Investments No3 Ltd holds 317,532,143 shares (12.41%).

Jim Mellon, expected to become non-executive director of Metals following regulatory checks, has 216,418,890 shares (8.46%).

Of these 12,927,319 shares are held directly in Mr Mellon’s own name and 203,491,571 shares held by Galloway Limited, a company indirectly wholly owned by Mr Mellon.

Metals took full ownership of Nicaragua-focused Condor on 15 January following a High Court sanction.
