Jersey Oil & Gas plc’s chief executive officer Andrew Benitz has bought 47,166 ordinary shares of 1p each at at a price of 52.875p per ordinary share.
The purchase on 7 March takes Mr Benitz’s holding to 763,764 ordinary shares, representing 2.33% of the company’s issued share capital.
JOG holds 20% of the Greater Buchan Area in the UK North Sea while operator NEO Energy holds 50% and Serica Energy plc owns 30%.
