IOG plc has appointed Dougie Scott as the company’s new chief operating officer.
He replaces David Gibson and will be appointed to the board following satisfactory due diligence.
Mr Scott has 30 years’ upstream operational experience, mainly in the Southern North Sea, where he led teams in production, drilling, offshore hydraulic stimulation, and green and brown field projects.
His previous employment includes posts with Shell, RWE Dea UK and most recently INEOS Oil and Gas where, over seven years, he was chief executive officer, operations director, and well delivery and decommissioning director.
