Cornish Lithium announced that Simon Gardner-Bond will join the board as nominee of South African investment company TechMet.
Mr Gardner-Bond is TechMet’s chief technical officer and has a 20-year career as a geologist and mining analyst.
He was senior metals and mining analyst at Investec Asset Management, helping to manage multi-billion dollar funds focused on natural resources.
Mr Gardner-Bond was also senior mining analyst at stockbrokers Ocean Equities Ltd and Peel Hunt, as well as mining analyst at Argent Partners Ltd.
He also has experience as an exploration geologist in Spain and Ireland.
Mr Gardner-Bond has an M.Sc. in Mineral Deposit Appraisal (Mineral Exploration) from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, and a B.Sc. in Geology and Physical Geography from the University of Liverpool.
