On its social media LinkedIn account the recently formed French-Australian company added it expected the third rig at the end of August.

“We have drilled 22 holes so far in this programme, infilling and extending what is already the UK’s biggest lithium deposit by far, and one of the largest in Europe,” it added.

At the end of June, the 20:80 joint venture was established after receiving clearance from the UK Government, under the National Security Investment Act protocol.
