Hurricane Energy plc has progressed work on the Lancaster 205/21a-6 (P6) and the 205/26b-14 (Lincoln-14) wells, West of Shetland.

The company said it had restarted the electric submersible pump (ESP), which tripped on 8 June, in the Lancaster 205/21a-6 (P6) oil well.
The company expects oil production from the P6 well at a rate of c.11,000 bopd, similar to the level before the trip.
Oil production from the P6 well is then expected to continue declining.
Hurricane has also contracted a rig to plug and abandon the 205/26b-14 (Lincoln-14) well on the P1368 (South) licence in the Greater Warwick Area joint venture.
A Stena Don semi-submersible rig will take 20 to 25 days to complete the operation for gross $13 million (£9m) with net $6.5m to Hurricane.
The JV has to complete operations by 31 October.
Operator Hurricane holds a 50% interest in the licence with Spirit Energy Resources Ltd owning 50%.
