Hurricane records 9,900 bopd from Lancaster P6 well

Hurricane Energy plc announced November production of 9,900 bopd from the P6 well alone at the Lancaster field, West of Shetland.

Hurricane had net free cash of $127m compared with $99m at the end of the previous month (Hurricane Energy)

The company also successfully completed the plugging and final abandonment (P&A) of the Lancaster 205/21a-4z well for a cost of $1 million. 

A total of $2.2m of decommissioning security (previously classified as restricted cash) has been released back to the company and used in part to fund the P&A.

As of 30 November 2021, Hurricane had net free cash of $127m compared with $99m as of 31 October 2021.

The 26th cargo of Lancaster oil of approximately 535 Mbbls was lifted on 30 November 2021.

The next cargo is anticipated to be lifted in January 2022.
