Helium One Global Ltd plans to drill five additional wells this quarter at the Galactica-Pegasus project in Las Animas County, Colorado, USA.

The company is farming into the project operated by Blue Star Helium which has now received permits to start operations.
The new wells, comprising Jackson-27 SWSE, Jackson-31 SENW, Jackson-29 SWNW, Jackson-2 L4 and Jackson-4 L4, lie to the south and southwest of State 16 development well currently suspended before tie-in to production.
All six wells will form part of the initial gas gathering into the Galactica helium production facility under development by the companies.
Blue Star has approval for 15 helium development well locations of which eight have Form 2 approvals for drilling including the five new wells and State-09, -35 and -36.
Helium One chief executive Lorna Blaisse said: “These approvals enable the drilling phase to commence, and we very much look forward to entering this partnership with the Blue Star team and starting this exciting drilling programme this quarter.”
