After cementing the casing, operator Blue Star Helium will undertake a cement bond log to confirm good bonding.

The operator will drill further into the target Lyons Sandstone formation to planned total depth at the base of the Upper Lyons Sandstone formation, which is the production hole section.

The well will be wireline logged at total depth before a well head is fitted to provide flow and pressure readings.

Helium One said that, on successful testing at Jackson-4, the development well will be completed and ready for tied-in to production facilities.

Galactica is part of the wider Galactica-Pegasus project in which the partners each have a 50% working interest.
