Helium One Global Ltd said its phase II seismic data had identified multiple areas of interest with potential new closures at its Rukwa project in Tanzania.

The company added that the potential closures were at both the Lake Bed and Karoo Group levels.
Previous 2D seismic did not cover the area surveyed meaning that any newly identified closures would be additional to the company’s current portfolio.
Helium One intends to complete additional studies on the areas of interest to identify drill-ready prospects, with information contributing to the planned 2022 drilling campaign.
The company is also in advanced talks with a global drilling company for a containerised rig which can be split into modules, enabling economic and quick transportation by any container ship, train or truck.
