The well pad, which includes an area for the camp accommodation, has received regulatory approval for the cementing component.
The company will next move the Predator 220 rig and equipment as well as choose the remaining drill crew and await third-party services equipment and remaining long lead items.
“Helium One is now another step closer to commencing our drilling programme at Tai-C,” said chief executive officer Lorna Blaisse.
“We are very impressed with the high standard of work that TNR have carried out and we look forward to moving ahead into the next stage of the project.”
The Rukwa project lies in southwestern Tanzania within the Rukwa Rift basin which occupies the western branch of the East Africa Rift System.
Helium One currently has 12 prospecting licences covering 1,898km2.
