Hartshead nears submission of Anning-Somerville FDP

Hartshead Resources NL expects to submit the field development plan in the next few weeks to the industry regulator for Phase I development of the Anning and Somerville gas fields in the southern North Sea.

Outcome: Hartshead made a number of bids in the UK 33rd Offshore Licensing Round (Shell / Hartshead)

PHASE I

Phase I comprises six production wells produced through two un-manned minimum facilities platforms tied back via a 40km export pipeline to the Shell-operated Corvette facility.

Gas production from Anning and Somerville on licence P2607 will be transported to the onshore Bacton gas terminal via Shell’s Leman system and pipeline.

Front end engineering design (FEED) work for Phase I development is approximately 90% complete and precedes the field investment decision (FID) and the execution phase.

TENDER INVITATIONS

Hartshead said it had also been progressing other work for the project including finalising invitations to tender for Phase 1 platforms engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning (EPIC) contracts.

The company recently issued tender invitations for the pipeline route survey for the Phase I export pipeline to Corvette.

The geophysical and environmental base-line survey of the Anning and Somerville platform locations is also complete, and Hartshead is currently securing a vessel for borehole surveys at each site.

H2 PLANS

In addition to completion of FEED and submission of the FDP during Q2 2023, the company aims to execute debt financing and target FID during Q3 2023.

Successful bids for the UK 33rd Offshore Licensing Round, in which Hartshead made “a number” of applications, are due to to be announced in H2 2023.
