Harbour Energy plc announced it had found marginal accumulations from drilling the Dunnottar exploration well (30/8-4) in licence P2399 in the UK North Sea.
ASSESSMENT
The well reached a total measured depth of 15,639 feet encountering hydrocarbon-bearing intervals in the Palaeocene, Jurassic and Triassic.
Harbour Energy said it would assess the commerciality of the marginal accumulations and in the meantime would plug and abandon the well.
The company holds a 67% operated interest in P2399 and ENI has a 33% interest in the licence.
