Guardian Metal Resources plc said that further “very high grade” tungsten intersections showed “tremendous upside potential” for its wholly owned Pilot Mountain in Nevada, USA.

Latest drill core assays from holes PM24-018 to PM24-028 in the Desert Scheelite zone confirm “multiple tungsten, copper, silver and zinc rich intervals”.
Results include two highest tungsten intersections to date of 3.04% tungsten oxide from 122.6m to 123.4m in PM24-022 and 3.01% oxide from 62.3m to 63.1m in PM24-023.
The campaign has to date seen 39 holes completed with the drill pad for the fortieth prepared ahead of drilling expected to begin on 6 January.
Guardian said it was also preparing a separate notice permit to prepare up to 20 drill pads at the project’s ‘garnet’ tungsten-copper-silver-zinc zone.
“This batch of results takes us another step closer to the updated resource estimate which feeds into the updated mine plan and eventual pre-feasibility study for our flagship Pilot Mountain project,” added chief executive Oliver Friesen.
“In tandem, we continue to push forward the due diligence process for the Tempiute mine and mill project.”
