Golden Metal Resources plc non-executive director Scott Richardson Brown has stepped down.
Mr Brown helped guide the company through the admission process and the transition to a public company.
“I would like to thank Scott on behalf of the board and all the shareholders for his valuable advice during his time with the company,” said chief executive officer Oliver Friesen.
Golden Metal has appointed Jason Thomas (J.T.) Starzecki as his replacement to reflect the company’s growing presence in the US and its planned listing on the OTCQB market.
Based in Minneapolis, Mr Starzecki is a business executive with experience in the junior mining and minerals market development, capital raising, project finance, US government affairs, business strategy and product placement.
He is currently the chief marketing officer of 5E Advanced Materials and has been a board advisor to and member of various junior mining companies focused on minerals including gold, silver, magnesite, kaolin and nickel.
Mr Starzecki holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
