Bara Consulting Ltd will work with and lead Snowden Mining Industry Consultants Ptd Ltd and Bomenco Minerals Engineering Corp to evaluate existing technical information and provide a plan of actions, schedule and a budget estimate.
The company said it would use the current mineral resource estimate as the initial basis for planning.
Desert Scheelite and Garnet, two of four identified deposits, form the MRE with potential remaining at Gun Metal and Good Hope.
The consortium will provide a list of drillhole locations relating to resource upgrade as well as geotechnical engineering studies.
Multiple proposed drillholes will be part of the current diamond drilling campaign which began earlier this month.
Golden Metal has also engaged a team of geologists, biologists, botanists, archaeologists and environmental specialists from Westland Engineering & Environmental Services Inc. to lead next stage permitting, including a plan of operations at Pilot Mountain.
A 2013 baseline biological survey report, which identified no impediments to development, would form the basis of a new revised report currently underway.
Chief executive Oliver Friesen added: “While the exploration and drilling workstreams have taken centre stage over the last few months, in the background we have been working on various development workstreams and can now confirm that they are moving forward in parallel with the ongoing exploration initiatives, including active drilling.”
