Approval from the local Bureau of Land Management includes two permits for Good Hope, four at Desert Scheelite Parallel West and one at Porphyry South.
The remaining 33 are located at or near the main Desert Scheelite zone.
Golden Metal said that further drilling sites could “quickly and easily” be permitted as drilling progressed.
From the start date of 11 May, a minimum of 2,000m will be drilled which the company may expand at its own discretion.
The company is finalising preparations and hired support staff, including several people involved with Pilot drilling in 2017 and 2018, notably 2015 to 2019 project manager Richard Bradey.
Golden Metal’s chief executive Oliver Friesen will also go to Nevada to help lead the drilling campaign at Pilot as well as check the company’s Garfield project and attend meetings in Reno.
“We believe the importance and criticality of this project is nearing all-time highs, and with this drilling programme we aim to both increase in-ground resources and collect import data which will be required in order for us to complete the project’s first economic study,” said Mr Friesen.
