Golden Metal confirms new Garfield anomalies

Golden Metal Resources plc said it had confirmed two “highly prospective” buried magnetic anomalies at its Garfield copper project in Nevada, USA.

Work: buried targets are coincident with copper-in-soil anomalies (stock photo)

The findings are from the inversion modelling of the magnetic geophysics survey data and follow last month‘s identification of potential porphyry targets.

The first is at High-Grade zone, where two “discrete magnetic lobes” apparent and at surface, coalesced into one large magnetic body which remained open at depth.

The top of the anomalies is approximately 150m at depth and at surface, with the main anomaly measuring 800m x 500m.

At the Power Line zone, the top of the second anomaly is at 200m depth and at surface.

Each buried magnetic anomaly is coincident with a copper-in-soil anomaly.

Golden Metal plans further work on the two new targets at Garfield.
